Worthy Sir Knights and Brothers,
Attached you will find the invitation and information (original correspondence below) for the upcoming Fourth Degree Exemplification of Patriotism, which will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
The attached invitation contains all candidate information. Detailed registration instructions will be distributed closer to the exemplification date.
Each Assembly should submit:
- A list of candidates.
- A list of Sir Knights who plan to participate in the Honor Guard or Color Corps.
Candidate and Honor Guard lists may be emailed directly to me—no special form is required. Form 4s may be brought to registration on the day of the exemplification. Each Assembly should provide a single check covering all candidate and meal fees at that time. For your convenience, an electronic Form 4 is attached.
ecrology
Assemblies are no longer required to submit necrology information. This information will be obtained directly from Supreme for the memorial Masses.
Ceremony
The updated exemplification ceremony is now open to families and the public. Since wives are now welcome to attend, there will no longer be a separate ladies' event.
The preferred attire for candidates is the official Fourth Degree Dress Regalia. However, a dark business suit is acceptable. Please encourage candidates to obtain the official regalia for future exemplifications whenever possible.
