With St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Msgr. Steven Brovey’s full and involved support, Council 8182 conducted a Membership Drive after all three weekend Masses during the period September 14 thru September 29. Although interrupted and delayed by Hurricane Helene, the Membership Drive was a HUGE success in that there were thirteen (13) new members and four (4) Transfers. On October 10 there was a CUF Exemplification Ceremony at the Seton Church which was led by the “Msgr. Andrew K.Gwynn 1668 Degree Team” and the Presiding Officer was State Deputy Jeffrey Crouch. Eight (8) of Council 8182’s thirteen (13) were Exemplified as were three (3) Brothers from other Councils. Afterwards, there was a nice social in the Seton Social where all enjoyed not only the food but meeting and talking with our new Brothers and their guests. This Membership Drive was huge success and all agreed that the Holy Spirit is working through Msgr. Steven Brovey to revitalize the spiritual life at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and also within Council 8182. We were, and are, truly blessed.
